is i've recently bought en E39 and found this project. I'd like to proceed with it but since everything is in german, it's a bit difficult for me. Is there any english version of the RaspControl itself or the installation process?

For configuring HelgeInterface you don't need any knowledge regarding the german language.
Or is it only the "manual" you need in english?

the basic parts of the skin are multilingual.
just some changes have fixed text.
Go to Settings --> Darstellung --> Sprache & Region. In the first row you can change the language of the skin.

Derhelge: Im from Czech Republic but located in France near Alsace. I was thinking about the manual yes and possibly general HW installation guide for dummies (for example "you need a cable to connect RPi to the CD changer so a specific cable" etc.) because im more of an engineer than electrician.

I'm at the stage to do a shopping list of the components and i have some questions. If i can ask, would you mind if i post them in the specific forum threads or you'd prefer all in this specific english thread?
