Does any one know if it would be possible to switch between OE CD Changer and BMWRasp Control input?

Using an X5 E53 Intensive Wash steering column stalk would provide a suitable push button to switch between inputs from steering wheel
you could use the aux input for rasp, if you have.

don't understand your second sentence.
Maybe I try and explain this a bit more! Smile

Right now I have to chose; do I want to plug in CD Changer, or maybe Intravee, or now maybe RaspPi + PiBus?

There is ONLY one 'Channel' originally CD Changer with 5 wires, 3 on one connector and 2 on the other.

What if you could select different inputs; CD Changer/Intraveee/RaspPi+ using a 'Select switch' on the steering column.

The select switch could be E53 X5 Intensive Wash button...

Plug 3 devices into a selector and use a relay to activate select button?

the problem is not the audio and video sources, but the ibus commucommunication.
rasp with cd emulation, intravee or cd changer use the same ibus id. so you will get collision and fail function by using the 3 devices on the ibus.
it would be very complex to separate them. a solution could be, to use an arduino as ibus gateway for the 3 devices.
but very difficult to write the program.

i hope you don't have dsp? this extends the difficult level one step up.
Thank you Harry.  This is why it's never been done. Blush

I would like to keep Intravee (with DSP and iPhone connection) on CD emulator.

How does RaspPi etc work on Aux please?

I have Aux with 3.5mm extension.
connect audio to aux and config the addon for aux.

Thanks again Harry

I am new to this!

I have Aux enabled but the sound quality is not very good in my opinion.

So, is the only way to connect RaspPi through CD Changer connections?
what is bad?

The sound quality using Aux from iPhone is not good in my car. Nowhere near as good as CD for example.
i thought you have connected the pi to aux?
