Schaltplan - Verkabelung
#21
Hallo.
Ich habe eine Frage zum Anschluss von 4 Pol Mini Jack an Stecker X18806.

The third ring must be ground.
Which ibus interface do you have? You can use ntsc wire instead gpio7, if you have

The third ring (ground) in the diagram is connected to pin 14 on the X18806 plug.
The interface will be "Resler bmw ibus interface"
What does the ntsc wire look like to use instead of gpio7?

it's important tgat the 3rd ring is ground. because there is no standard for 4pin 3.5mm jack.
most use 4th ring for ground. so you would have wrong video polarity and no ground for audio signal.

if you have ntsc wire you don't need gpio7 and the 100 Ohm resistor.
Ntsc can do the same. (pull down to enable video signal from raspberry)

I know that manufacturers make TRRS pinouts guided by their imagination.
Therefore, I found a Nokia CA-75U multimedia AV cable (it has the correct pinout).
1 right audio
2 left audio
3 composite video
4 ground
I can't figure out what the ntsc wire looks like so as not to use gpio7 and a 100 ohm resistor.
Can you link to a photo of what the ntsc wire looks like?

the pi pin out is (3+4 swaped):
1 right audio
2 left audio
3 ground
4 composite video

the resler ibus interface has 4 pin outs
white: IBus
red: +12V
brown: Ground
green: NTSC

Thanks, I figured out my mistake.
As I understand it, if I use a wire from GPIO7 to connector X18804 (pin 17), then the video will control the Raspberry pi ?
If I use the resler ibus interface (green: NTSC) then the video will be driven by the resler ibus interface ?
I have studied the instructions for connecting the resler ibus interface, it says that the green wire is not used.
Connect the green NTSC wire from the resler ibus interface to the X18804 connector (pin 17)?

yes green wire to pin 17 xx18804 = you don't need gpio7

Hello.
I connected the Raspberry pi according to the diagram using the ibus wrestler interface.
green NTSC wire from ibus wrestler interface to connector X18804 (pin 17)
But I have a problem: the car does not see the Raspberry pi.
The MODE button switches between radio and CD.
After connecting, I have a problem when closing / opening the car, the headlights start blinking themselves one by one and the rear left turn signal turns on.
I have tested the circuit several times, the connection is correct.
Software BMWRaspControl V8.0, also tried OSMC mit IBusCommunicator für Raspberry Pi2 + 3 .
