I was trying to achieve this for last couple of months, I was almost losing hope since I know that TGD got picture I kept trying. I first tried with HDMI but thats no proper way to since the pixel clock is way below than HDMI spec. Then I tried with DPI and getting picture is not that difficult. But still there are a lot of artifacts especially when there is a dark picture on screen. I dont have brightness issue as TGD experienced. If you want to use DPI, you can output Csync instead of Hsync, it works with gertvga.

I think good DAC IC is needed for nice pulse generation, when I have a bit more free time I want to design ADV7125 based DAC which also able mix sync into green line. By the time, can anybody suggest me a cheap oscilloscope that I can check RGB lines? I have logic analyzer but thats not really working with analog signals.
